The Story

The Story Behind SoulfulSpeed

SoulfulSpeed was born from two things that have always been a major part of my life: my love for cars and my love for the Lord. For me, cars have always been more than just machines. They are a form of creativity, passion, expression, and connection. There is something special about bringing people together through a shared love for automotive culture. Whether it's a beautiful build, a unique car, the sound of an engine, or simply standing around talking about cars with friends, the automotive community has the ability to bring people from completely different backgrounds together.

But there was a problem in the car scene. There was a growing side of the automotive community that didn't reflect the kind of environment we wanted to be a part of. Takeovers, reckless driving, dangerous behavior, disrespect, and environments that weren't welcoming to families began to become associated with certain parts of car culture. Even some car shows and meets could feel more focused on competition, attention, and the wrong kind of influence rather than bringing people together.

SoulfulSpeed is an automotive lifestyle car group built around passion, community, family, friendship, and faith. Our goal is to create an environment where people can enjoy the automotive culture without feeling like they have to compromise their values or put themselves in an unsafe environment. But at the heart of SoulfulSpeed is something even bigger than cars — Jesus Christ. We don't believe that everyone who walks through the doors of a SoulfulSpeed event has to already know the Lord, attend church, or have a relationship with God. In fact, that's part of the reason SoulfulSpeed exists. We want to create an environment where everyone is welcome. Someone might come because they love cars. Someone else might come because their friend invited them. Someone might come because they want to see the builds. Someone might come simply because they are looking for somewhere to belong. Whatever the reason, our hope is that when people step into a SoulfulSpeed environment, they experience something different. They experience genuine community. They experience kindness. They experience family. And most importantly, they experience an environment where the Holy Spirit is welcome.

Our goal isn't to force faith onto anyone. It's to live it out through the way we treat people, the way we build community, and the environment we create. We want people to be able to see that there is something different about SoulfulSpeed — not because we are perfect, but because we are trying to point everything back to the Lord. Since starting SoulfulSpeed, we've had the opportunity to host approximately four to five automotive events and see the community begin to grow beyond what we originally imagined. But some of the most meaningful moments haven't happened around a car. They've happened when people made decisions that changed their lives. We've had the privilege of witnessing baptisms connected to the community. We've seen people begin attending young adult services. We've seen people connect with churches and develop relationships with other believers. We've watched people who may have originally shown up because of cars begin to become connected to something much greater.

Those moments are what remind us why SoulfulSpeed exists. The cars are the connection. The community is the foundation. But Christ is the center.

We want SoulfulSpeed to continue becoming a place where automotive culture and faith can exist together in a way that feels authentic, welcoming, and genuine. A place where families can come out without worrying about the environment. A place where friends can make memories. A place where car enthusiasts can express their passion. A place where someone who has never stepped foot inside a church can still encounter people who genuinely love Jesus.

We believe the car scene doesn't have to be defined by takeovers, reckless driving, negativity, or a bad environment. We believe it can be different. We believe cars can bring people together for something positive. We believe a car meet can become a place where friendships begin. We believe an automotive community can become a family. And we believe that God can use something as simple as a shared love for cars to reach someone's heart.

That is the vision behind SoulfulSpeed. We're not trying to create just another car club. We're building a lifestyle. We're building a community. We're building a family. And above all, we're creating a space where people can come exactly as they are, enjoy what they love, meet new people, and have the opportunity to encounter the love of Christ. Because at the end of the day, SoulfulSpeed isn't really about how fast your car is, how expensive your build is, or how many people follow you. It's about the people. It's about the memories. It's about the relationships. It's about creating a better culture. And it's about using something we already love — cars — to point people toward something far greater.

This is SoulfulSpeed.
